Carelia Wheat Beer is a soft and richly aromatic beer with banana and subtle clove notes. It pairs well with light dishes such as white fish and salads — or simply enjoyed on its own. This German-style wheat beer is hopped with American Citra hops. Unlike traditional wheat beers, Carelia Wheat Beer has a slightly higher hop content. The Citra hops add a citrusy touch to the flavor.

A dark, coffee-brown, and roasted flavor experience, with notes of traditional Finnish archipelago bread, toffee, nuts, and cocoa. The herbal aftertaste lingers long on the palate. An excellent pairing for meat dishes and game, as well as desserts and cheeses. Also perfect to enjoy on its own.

Tokyo Damage Apa 5,5%

Tokyo Damage American Pale Ale is crafted in collaboration with snowboarder Heikki Sorsa. This golden-yellow beer is topped with a bright white foam head. Its flavor profile is inspired by American hops, offering a strong fruity aroma. You'll find scents of citrus fruits, mango, pineapple, and floral notes all in perfect balance. The taste delivers plenty of fruitiness along with bitterness that satisfies even the most demanding palates. This beer pairs excellently with dishes like a fresh chicken salad. The generous hopping also makes it a great match for strongly spiced foods, as chili enhances the hop bitterness.

Carelia Wheat Beer won the Wheat Beer category at the Finland's Best Beer competition in autumn 2022. This is the most prestigious domestic beer contest in Finland, judging beers brewed by both large and small breweries. 

Helsinki Beer Festival 2023 - Silver

Both Carelia Wheat Beer and Unison Golden Ale won silver medals in the highly competitive Helsinki Beer Festival's Beer of the Year competition. 

European Beer Challenge - Gold Medal 2023 

Carelia Wheat Beer was awarded a gold medal in London at a prestigious beer competition in May 2023.

Valo Wheat Beer and Taiga Whisky Porter won gold medals in Germany in 2021. 

Asia Beer Challenge 2020

Taiga Licorice Porter and Emigrant American Strong Ale won double gold medals at the Asia Beer Challenge 2020. Carelia Blonde Ale, Double Doc Emeritus Carelia Strong Ale, Taiga North Carelian Porter, and Tumma Heili Dark Wheat Beer all took home gold.
Äkäsen Eukko Fine Lager, Anoppi Dry IPA, and the stronger Taiga Porter earned silver medals.
Heili Wheat Beer, IPA, and Barley Wine received bronze.

European Beer Star 2020

Double Doc Emeritus Carelia Strong Ale won gold at the European Beer Star competition in Germany in 2020.
